some time back, i went to this restaurant.. (dunnoe where lolx)

i think it's pretty famous/popular..

the renovation inside is kinda above avg..

the atmosphere is like some foodcourt, yet interior nice and posh haha

great display..

the food is nice..

mostly indian diners.. I was one of the few non-indians lolx..

this private park is new and nice :) it has been open for less than a year i think.. it's beside khatib mrt and takes 10min walk (due to poor positioning of entrance)

great place for a stroll/weekend hangout/escapade/de-stress..

30 yrs later we'll be like them T.T

there's a seafood restaurant also, can eat and tok kok for whole night..

kids can do some baby-fishing here.. catch guppies, baby fishes..

$10 for a tank + net + fishes u catch + fish food

the kids juz rape the fishes and throw them all into their fish tanks, like 50.. not 5 lolx.. anw the owner dont care also..

there's a prawn-fishing pond too (or izzit prawn-ing?).. $14.50 for a rod and some bait.. occasionally big prawns (like in pic) will be released into the pond.. nv try fishing before, one day we can come here fish, eat and tok kok bathe moonlight!

yay finally 'A' levels are over and some subjects will not reappear in our lives anymore.. it's also time to max out our energies and make full use of wadeva time we have left..

after physics paper on monday, i went to play bball while the rest played soccer.. haha i believe every single person felt extremely unfit.. we also went taru house and it was really crowded, probably around like 11people..

there are some photos in my phone since prelims but i cant upload cos the sensitivity of the phone connector was too weak so i serviced it yst at wisma, and poor yida gotta wait for me sia.. i'll be getting back on friday ba, now use some temp phone.. 2 of us + shijie went around town to see-see look-look at clothings but they are either too plain/common-looking or ex until dont-need-to-look.. well besides prom stuff i was also looking for japan trip stuff and there were a quite a lot of nice stuff (mostly not cheap lolx) i wan to buy.. wait for sale/discount ba.. i dun mind the guess premium ed jeans (holy 500bucks) as a collective xmas+bdy present from all of u haha..

sj always tok abt banana republic, then we went it's sole outlet at paragon, hmm the stuff there not bad la but ya, ex like armani wth.. one plain t-shirt with nothing on it cost like 400 bucks (material-wise also not tt worthy lol).. end up can afford nothing lolx.. we also passed by an empty outlet, those custom-made suits kind, inside there were like 5 smartly-dressed staff with ear phones standing at the counter.. haha unless u wear like them, u wldnt feel approriate to step inside.. they look like they protecting some president or securing some vault.. so good stand there earn easy money..

anw rara compiling his "my xmas wishlist stuff from japan" haha so who want stuff from japan can start compiling ur wishlists, but pls pay 50% deposit heh (then im going to spend it away hahahaha)

im sure choon wing fly back to hongkong w/o saying a word then fly back 'yo dood' me..

Pathlight Sports&Fun Camp June '07

haha i wanted to blog this long ago but left it as draft.. and it rotted lolx..

Sigh now cannot remember wat was on my mind 3months ago.. juz gonna be a summary then..

(due to sensitivity, we cant take pics of the damn-cute kids there..)

Day 1 - West Coast Park + Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex

Most of the volunteers there are from the j2 gep-gang haha (sarge, pee sin, cq, han, vd, lossie, jerome, yao) and few gals like vanessa, elaine, supranee, zilin.. etc

at first i didnt really understand wad autism meant.. but the kids there really behaved like any other kids.. if autism, by definition, is a psychiatric disorder marked by deficits in communication and social interaction, then i seriously think many people in rj is autistic.. it's quite sad tt these kids are stereotyped at such a young age..

on the first day we went west coast park to play the obstacle courses.. i think i've nv been there for years.. there's nothing much there anyway lolx..

we have to help the kids overcome the 'obstacles' mentally and physically (cos some are really scared).. then they are allowed to play around in the playground.. nice to see those kids being so carefree and enjoying their childhood..

lunch was mcdonalds' and then we headed to amk swimming complex.. the volunteers didnt really bring swim-wear but we juz jump into the pool becos the kids seemed to enjoy themselves a lot haha.. cannot resist.. so long nv swim liao.. we played around quite a lot (making the kids stand on the floats like silver surfers lolx), chasing each other around and the zilin + elaine went around dunking ppl's heads into the pool.. rawr

then we had to bathe the kids after the swim lolx.. hmm, quite interesting convos between vd and lossie but i shall censor it hahaha..

Day 2 - Pulau Ubin + Changi Beach

set off to pulau ubin! (cant really rmb when i've last been there.. or have i?)

sarge saw chiobu mermaid..

pee thinking of china apple.. hahaha (she was in china at tt time)

the bum boat ride cost $2 per pax..

it rained the moment we reached pulau ubin..

so we got stuck for a while..

yay..

so we went on a sensory trail, exploring those herbs and plants..
sarge thought he was 李时珍 writing the 本草纲目, he plucked the aloe vera and tasted it LOL.. he got bitter tongue for the next hour..

soon.. a thunderstorm came and we got stucked in the visitors' area for the nex 1-2 hrs..

sian diao..

bike riding time! 2 bucks only.. i had to cycle 2 kids, one in front and one behind lolx..
we cycled only about 20min per round.. (2 rounds)

we saw the quarry..

and spiderman..

After cycling we went back to mainland and played all kinds of games at changi beach! there were (all the kiddy versions of) frisbee, baseball, soccer, kite-flying etc.. pee, cq, sarge and i went kite-flying! haha mine was flying quite high and a photographer even took a pic of it :)

Day 3 - MacRitchie Reservoir Park

wah lao this camp really a lot long-time-never-do stuffs.. the last time i kayak-ed was during obs in sec3.. when we were at reservoir with kids, there were already many students training for the upcoming competitions, including rj..

the kayak was quite tiring hahaha.. we have to kayak a kid x many many rounds.. until the volunteers have phobia of the oars haha.. the kids juz sit there and command "i wan to go there! faster! faster!" when they also have the oar -.-"

after kayaking, the kids had a mini-telematch haha quite cute.. then there's this water bomb game where they were supposed to throw the water bombs at the volunteers.. everything went chaos and everyone started owning each other with straight-in-ur-face bombs.. there were also water guns and PAILS haha.. im sure they scooped water from the reservoir and own ppl with pairs of water.. the kids also sprayed water at the other sch ppl walking by hahaha..

every1 was drenched to the core haha.. and we have no change of clothes yay.. so we kinda sat the bus with wet ass-es..

the evening/night was the camp finale.. when we were back at the sch we had to bathe the kids again.. and many interesting things happen hahahaha.. sarge, cq and i are supposed to bathe the kids in our group.. there were around 8 of them but there's only 1 cubicle, so they had to take turn.. while waiting for their turn, they stripped to nothing (on their own) and started fooling around with their.. mini-guns hahaha really.. "piu piu u die!" and even ride on each other and spank each other (really SM-ing) HAHAHA.. sarge was spasm-ing while watch them playing around..

after tt the kids went to watch a video while the volunteers made souveniours.. the catered dinner was dam nice, especially the satay.. there was also a small campfire..

there was a slideshow to show the parents wad the kids have done over the last few days.. and a debrief.. after the kids have gone home we stayed back to clean up everything else..

one kid was riding the skate-scooter while vd was sweeping and lossie mopping the floor.. haha vd was like "wat the eff?" haha dam funny..

Erika is presenting us seven different styles of clothes (similar to the mobile CM), but this time she changes into all outfits within one CM.

The different styles are (from top left):

Mannish, Active, Luxcuy

It was a difficult shooting, but with the natural talent of Erika, they were able to finish everything within 2-5 takes.

The two new flavors are "Strawberry" and "Rum & Vanilla".
According to Erika it's a very beautiful and magical smell (NTV).

the 'tea dance' was at st. james power station (dragonfly).. there was already a long queue when we reached there..

interior quite nice.. the sound system's good too.. we only manage to reach until the pillar on the left (with the no smoking sign).. it's still like 20m away from the stage.. can barely see jay chou only..

he came and tok kok for like 1hr only, after the 'tea party' we took a walk inside..

either u get up close with jay and feel shiok or u dont get to see much and feel shitty..

cw, sj and i + pandeng watched Secret on sat and it was really nice.. i like the plot, cast, romance, humour etc..

haha i know youth day is some time back lolx.. (i still have june's pathlight camp as draft lolz)

well anywayz, youth day holiday we decided to go out and not rot at home! kin wai and zeyan were early (@ cityhall mrt).. quite paiseh to go late and make them wait haha.. there were only 3 of us at tt point of time, becos every1 else was either slping/missing-in-action.. so kin wai and zeyan ate lunch first at the marina sq foodcourt..

then we walked around and shopped.. (ok, only me la..)

from the 2nd floor, we saw this bunch of ppl on the grnd floor, girls in one circle and boys in the other.. we thought they muz be from rj (quite a random guess but justifiable).. true enough one of them was wearing rj uni! haha see.. (some of the ogs had outings there, yida saw gayle some time later)

even assassins go for branded stuff..

hmm we went to arcade and wandered around, then choon wing and sarge came and we kinda played hyperbishibashi lolx.. pretty lame but well, it's quite fun haha..

sian diao, we played pool there also.. then yida came.. after pool wah piang dam hungry cannot tahan liao we started to look for a place for dinner, but we couldnt make up our mind, cos it's either too ex or too sian (fast-food).. so we walked around like pokemons being poisoned, having limited number of steps to walk before we gonna faint..

somehow a jap food advertisement in a secluded corner managed to attract our attention and we juz whack by searching for it (regardless of cost)..

ta-da.. it's Azabu Sabo lolx (beside billy bombers)

there were only abt 5 other ppl inside.. the food on the all looked dam nice..

ahh.. it's here!! yida and kinwai zhao-ed..my beef ramen~ good quality beef! but portion is too lil! even the green tea is nice..

we thought since we were there, might as well eat until shuang! (cos the dessert looked too good..) so we ordered dessert and wallet became desert..

after tt sarge left for home, cw and i went bugis street to shop for some stuff.. (kinokuniya in bugis got jap idol mags wor, but dont have erika's lolx..) shop until 9pm+ have to zhao or else cw cant make it back in boarding lolx..

oh ya on friday (after physics CT) a few of us went for a shopping spree in town (before gst increase) but didnt get anything much lolx.. we had our dinner at dhoby plaza sing foodcourt (riverside indonesian bbq stall) as usual la.. it's like, as long as u are within 2km vicinity of plaza sg + zeyan/sarge is with u, ur lunch/dinner is bound to be there..

Prophecy: tml we are going to have lunch there again after cip at ymca.. trust me..

after dinner shijie, cw and i walked around a bit more before they came my house.. shijie left b4 midnight thinking tt he has cip the nex day (he mixed up the dates).. cw is siao, cos the nex morning (6am) when i woke up, he was still using my comp in complete darkness.. (doing personality surveys -.-")

Erika's New Photobook

Erika takes a trip ... finally after 3 years new photobook goes on sale

After about 3years without a photobook, Sawajiri Erika will finally release a new one.
It goes on sale on August 29 and will cost about 2000 yen.

The title for it will be "ERIKA2007" and the photobook will have 144 pages.

The photoshoot took place in the middle of March this year. Erika went to France, the home of her mother and also went to Italy, the country with the most World Heritages.

You will see everything from sexy shots in a bathtub to kimono pictures and even rare images with no make-up.

Erika really loves to travel and already went to Europe either alone or with her mother.

"I love going to my favorite places in Europe and I have been going there without fail.", she said.

"The usual stuff was harmonious and I did many things that I wanted to do. Everyday I was in a good mood. It was a wonderful feeling. Everything was really authentic. It was like a new start for me.", Erika continued.

The limited edition of this photo-book will come with an exclusive making-of DVD. This version costs about 2100yen and reservations will be only accepted until August 12.

my 表哥 sells 田鸡粥 (frog porridge) at dunman food centre there.. it's really dam nice and the stall is starting to gain popularity! (many local artistes patronize!)

yesterday, mediacorp came to film his stall for it's upcoming food show hosted by 王禄江 and 苏志成.. it's not a brand new food show, i cant remember wad's it's called, it's probably another season of the show..

the panel of 7 judges will rate the food by giving a thumbs up or down..

..and all gave thumbs up! (uncommon verdict!)

SAT Outing

it's a SATurday (2nd June).. and it's SAT day!

weepin, yida and i (the toa payoh dwellers) went for SAT at AEC training centre (rafflesplace).. when we reached there at like 8.30pm, there was a long long queue.. apparently the venue was not open yet.. im sure! tt's quite a bad first impression of the testing centre..

there were many foreign scholars and we saw a few rj ppl there like david chan haha..

how i wish could go to american sch.. sarge says that the facilities/ambience/"view" there very good.. hahaha..

i actually considered of zhao-ing juz before we entered (and sit for the dec?).. cos under the situation of not even mugging one vocabulary there was this feeling tt i wld screw up badly.. then i thought, might as well get done with it since i wldnt study for it anyway as i wld be partying after a lvls.. and there's yida and weepin company hahaha..

but anyway, other than the screwed-up opening time, the test centre was satisfactory luh, everything else went on smoothly.. juz tt i didnt bring any pullover/jacket so i had like a brain freeze at the last 2 sections..

so after tt we had lunch at toa payoh central and went home to get changed!

yida and i then took mrt all the way to pasir ris to join sarge, shijie, xin yang, taru at pasir ris park for some recreational activities.. deric, zeyan and kenneth also joined us soon after..

at arnd 6pm+ we took taxi and sarge's papa's car to aloha changi chalet (mansion i suppose).. it was huge with table tennis table and many rooms on the 2nd floor.. the chalet was meant for his father's expat friend's b'day celebration.. so we go there 凑热闹 and 充人数 only hahaha.. of course, to eat!

the main attraction was this $1200 lamb haha.. it's dam nice.. i think the saddest guy was the chef who could only watch ppl eat..

Heh, kin wai and i go to kumon to earn some cash.. it's so near to my house (downstairs only) tt's y i ask rara to get me in! we go there and mark the kids' worksheets and tutor them a bit.. the kids are so cute..

one day, the lady boss asked us to go for a kumon workshop held on 30th may, at kumon's sg headquarter at One George Building (rafflesplace)..

and there we were..

at the entrance.. all the kumon employees wear light blue jackets very cute haha..

we were actually the youngest there lolx.. most teachers there are experienced parents, tutors, etc.. *hopes dashed*

rara giving a try at the achievement test..

everything abt the office building is so cool.. the interior design is superb.. the toilet is like dam clean and nice..

even the lift is so cool, the tall strips of lights will light up green or red (up/down) when the lift arrives..

we went somerset for lunch.. there's this guy with helicopter-pilot-like headphones..

on sunday, my cousin (女方) got married.. 很久没有亲戚结婚了, 前天又再次感受到亲戚嫁出的感觉..

sat i felt dam tired (after nature walk) so i didnt go for the bridegroom-go-open-bride's-house-door thingy, cos it's so early like 6-7am.. my sis went though.. i went to the bride's house at around 10+am with my mum, cos they will come back for some tea ceremony.. it was nice to see everyone so happy and pretty (hahahahaha).. it ended quite fast, we left for home after eating the buffet and phototaking..

i realized dun have a-bit-more-formal new clothes le.. so hurried and asked shi jie to town! (cos he happened to be in town with ellen).. wah like 点灯泡 neh.. we walked around quite a few times and eventually settled in guess. not bad, great singapore sale! armani no discount sia, everything so ex, and not very unique-looking also.. we saw guess got one dam nice long sleeve de but nett price $265 hahaha..

wedding dinner @ pan pacific hotel.. pretty grand dinner.. nice to see all my relatives there to celebrate..

today there was inter-house pictionary at around 2.30pm..

hadley-hullett team consists of jie liang, sarge, jason, max and tea initially, but it ended up being me, sarge, clemens, jason, tea and hong quan! hahahahaha clemen's participation was hilarious, cos hullett team was short of ppl.. apparently he was inside the lift on the way home, then when the lift door open, jia hui saw him and immediately recognized him as a hullettian, then pulled him out to A46 for pictionary.. hahaha

so there were 2 rounds, each round 3min and u cant skip questions.. u choose the word/phrase to draw by rolling a dice and see where u land (diff landing spots diff colour) on the gameboard (like snake/monopoly).. diff colours have their own category (e.g. person/place/action).. the rolling of dice is included in the 3min.. so after u have guessed correctly another person rolls the dice and gets the word/phrase to draw..

the first 3 teams were other houses, and they were quite lousy lor.. manage to answer like 1 or 2 only.. so our turn came, the order was jason first, then clemens, me, tea, hong quan and lastly sarge, and nobody expected the 4th guy onwards to draw given the performances of previous houses.. but it juz so happened tt we were too imba!! hahahahaha

all of us managed to draw once and tt round was hilarious.. i think we answered like 8 and advanced 27 boxes on the gameboard compared to like 4 boxes (other houses).. we were anyhow answering and laughing.. dam funny.. for example sarge's word was whipping and the category was action, then he started drawing something which looked exactly like a sperm and proceeded with a circle which we though was ovary (turned out to be a stickman).. then we were like shouting "sperm!" "egg!" "oh sex sex!" hahahahaha.. (tt's y we put sarge last initially) heh..

haha after our turn was over, all other teams had better coordination and did much better overall.. the period during which other teams were guessing was definitely hilarious.. clemens anyhow shouting all kinds of dirty phrases distracting them hahahaha.. when it was our turn again, we were all set to win! yay, and guess wad, we couldnt answer the first one!! lolx.. kinda disappointed.. the phrase was lake district, im sure (when other teams were getting orange, half-time, right)!! bw also got guai lan one - registry office..

not bitching abt it, but i think the game wld have to be based simply on the number of words u've answered correctly, and not the total value of the dice thrown (of the correct answers).. 1 team which answers 5 correctly but all the dice thrown is 1 still loses to another team which answered 1 only but threw a 6.. the element of luck shldnt be factor-ed in lor..

hahaha aiya wadeva! it was fun being reunited with fellow old friends and talking kok again!

indeed, it was a dam long queue all the way to the carpark..

somehow we got our choc brownie cone in less than 10min! hahahahaha 这一种 FEEL~!

A Day @ the Zoo

Dear Diary,

Today, I go to the Singapore Zoo! It is my n^th time going to the zoo. I was very excited, even though mummy's not with me. It is YMCA's Y-Outing programme, it is very fun.

One Fine Day, (my teacher say muz start lidat) the first animal i saw was the orang utan. Beside them hor, got otters:

kawaii neh, but after walking a while, something 臭臭 neh.

it is very smelly. Muz be their 'ngh ngh'. The signboard says 'gazelle' but the ymca jie jie says it is a camel with no humps.

then got polar bear also. But the feeding show over liao. I also saw the white tiger and warthog (mountain pig).

This is some mouse. How come i dont see mickey mouse in the zoo.

The red 屁股 baboons wont 羞羞 de meh.

This one is the elephant show. Very nice, i like it very much. There is many ang mohs. wah piang got one ang moh girl sibei chio.

This is the entrance. Got Ben&Jelly on the left but i never buy because my power rangers wallet inside no money.

These are sculptures of an elephant family. I dont know why got one attention-seeking guy si bei guai lan stand in front when i take picture. wah lan eh.

It is a happy and fun day. I enjoy it a lot. Heng heng after we left, it started to pour. I wish daddy and mummy bring me there again.

juz reached home after kbox-ing at suntec with erikawaiians.. dam tired.. K.O.-ed..

today 'sian friday' so we decided to go out.. met at around 2.15pm at cityhall.. there were abt 5 of us, hong rui, sarge, kin wai, kenneth and me.. then shi jie joined us at around 3.30pm while we were at marina square bk having some snacks..

coincidentally we met 6C peeps and chuuuuuun on the way to kbox.. marina kbox was full, so we called suntec and managed to reserve a room for 5 cos hong rui had to go off.. so spend the whole afternn/evening there jay-ing (haha paiseh..) and it's dam funny to c shi jie and kenneth spamming old english songs (like britney's) and anyhow sing.. no pics becos inside too dark lolz.. the drinks there are better though, can choose sparkling orange/mango and many others..

shldnt have gone on a public holiday.. super ex..

our class blog kinda died, and blogger still doesnt allow me to upgrade it to the new version.. so i think we shld do something and not just wait for it..

also, like in the case of the previous blog, no one blogs.. in the end like become my blog..

although we may still blog abt class stuff, the focus is on erika sawajiri! wahahahaha..
